Veterinarians & Behaviorists

Please note that I do not have personal experience with all the vets & behaviorists listed on this page. I have provided this information solely to help you make informed decisions about your dog. Be sure to do your due diligence when choosing any professional to work with you and your dog.

It makes sense to rule out any medical causes for a dog’s behavior. Illness or injury could contribute to your dog’s behavior. Hormones, thyroid imbalances and tick borne diseases should be ruled out as possible contributors to behavior. For thyroid analysis your vet can send blood samples to Dr. Jean Dodd’s Hemopet labs.
